A day of retreat for women to explore the bridge between the art of Authentic Relating* and Zen meditation with a koan
“To study the Buddha Way is to study the self. To study the self is to forget the self. To forget the self is to be actualized by myriad things….”
-zen master Dogen
The beginning of this Dogen quote reminds me again that it’s in relationship with others and the world that we can fully awaken. This day of retreat will take us on a journey to explore what matters most to us, sustains us, and frees us. Alternating between gentle Authentic Relating exercises, meditation, and sharing from the heart in conversation we can move past our habitual stories, our own roadblocks to happiness, and we experience resting in our true essence among the myriad things.
